The Funk Factory Dashboard - Redesigned the dashboard experience for ~Pourri’s gamified rewards app to simplify user flow, clarify the gameplay loop, and visually guide users from product tap-in to loyalty redemption.

PROBLEM
The Funk Factory dashboard was confusing for users. The game required multiple steps — tapping in a product, earning energy, playing mini-games, and collecting rewards — but the interface didn’t clearly show where to start or how the system worked.

WHAT WOULD I DO DIFFERENTLY?
If time permitted, I would expand the onboarding experience to support first-time users better and reduce friction early on.
Reintroduce reward pathways from previous programs, such as receipt scanning for product purchases, to retain loyalty from existing customers beyond the game.
Conduct usability testing to validate if users clearly understand iconography, energy mechanics, and tier progression at a glance.

Designing for gamified interfaces requires focus on clarity, especially when multiple tokens, actions, and tiers are involved.
A well-structured hierarchy is essential to guide users through complex flows.
Language and visual cues must work together to support user decisions in real-time.
