ABOUT ME

I’m an empathy-first designer with project experience across diverse industries, including B2B tech, Healthcare, Education, AI, and e-commerce/retail.

I'm Aakanksha, a Product Designer with 3+ years of experience in Product, UX/UI design, and UX research.

I care about dressing experiences that blend aesthetics with purpose, ensuring each design feels natural and impactful.

PS: Outside of design, I'm always looking for ways to get inspired or explore art through different mediums.

Empathy-First Design:

I prioritize understanding users' real needs and emotions. My goal is to create designs that resonate on a personal level and feel intuitive.

Aesthetics with Purpose:

My fashion and graphic design background sharpened my eye for detail and visual storytelling. I ensure every design element is beautiful and enhances clarity for a seamless user journey.

Adaptability and Open-Mindedness:

I stay flexible and open to new ideas, adapting to each project’s needs. I’m always ready to learn, pivot, and evolve as needed.

Collaborative Ideation:

I believe the best ideas come from open, inclusive brainstorming. I create spaces where a team's voice is valued and encouraged to contribute.

"I had the pleasure of teaching Aakanksha in the UX program at Thomas Jefferson University. Aakanksha is a highly empathetic designer whose work consistently reflects her deep understanding of user needs. She demonstrates a keen interest in trauma-informed research methods and facilitation, ensuring that the customer's voice is central to her storytelling. Her slide decks were visually stunning and powerfully engaging, captivating the audience with compelling narratives that truly resonate with users."
